• RDF Label Converter
  RDF Label Converter is a graphic tool that allows for converting RDF data and RDF schema files between different encoding alternatives of the same CIDOC CRM version. It further allows for migrating RDF data files between different versions of the CIDOC CRM that differ only in Entity or Property label names.
  
  The tool employs a customizable table of mappings, i.e. equivalent labels names for entities and properties at their syntactic position in XML RDF or XML OWL, implemented as an EXCEL file. The mapping table is initialized with the following columns (for CIDOC CRM version 5.0.1):
  • Schema_dot_FB_Label: Entity and Property numbers in the labels are separated by dots, forward and backwards properties are marked by “F” for forward and “B” for backwards.
  • Schema_dot_FB: There are only Entity and Property numbers in the labels, no names, forward and backwards properties are marked
  • Schema_und_FB_Label:Entity and Property numbers in the labels are separated by underscores, forward and backwards properties are marked by “F” for forward and “B” for backwards.
  • Schema_dot__I_label: Entity and Property numbers in the labels are separated by dots, forward properties carry the property number and forward name only, while backwards properties are marked by “I” for backwards (“inverse”).
  • Schema_dot_FB_und:There are only Entity and Property numbers in the labels followed by an underscore, no names, forward and backwards properties are marked.
  
  User can do the following:
  
  • Convert one RDF file into a file with another name.
  • Convert one or more files or folders containing RDF files.All resulting files are stored in a new folder under their original
    file names.
  • Open the excel file with RDF label mappings for editing and adding other conversion equivalences.
