The meetings
will take place at The National Museum of Denmark. The
meeting room is situated in the office space of the
Documentation Group. Information on how to find the
meeting room may be obtained by asking the personnel
at the reception desk in the main lobby of The National
Museum.

Why is the upcoming meeting
in Copenhagen so important?
The main goal of the meeting is to decide
on the last contents amendments, as proposed in the
last meeting. Further decisions on the complete set
of scope notes have to be taken, particularly those
elaborated in the last meeting. Then the focus of the
group will shift to address priority issues of presentation,
dissemination, training and application and attracting
more members.
This meeting will cover the
following issues:
- Introduction
to the CIDOC CRM for new-comers,
- Introduction
to RDF/RDFS to demonstrate an important possible application
of the CIDOC CRM.
- Amendments:
Decision on issues: 3,7,14,36,44,52,56,61,62,67,69,70,76,77,78,79,80,82,83,84,85,86,88,89,91,92,93,94,95,96.
Decision on issue 21, if proposals will exist, else
making proposals.
- Validating
Applications:
Discussion on prototypical scenarios of use, what
should be the validating applications, which kinds
of supporting documents are needed. Progress on issues
nr. 19,39,
- Editorial
Decision on the complete property scope notes, issue 43,
and issues nr. 58,72,81,87,90;
progress report on issues 16,50 - if proposals exist, decision, else making proposals.
- Extended
documentation:
Dealing with presentation, good practice, FAQ and
interpretation issues. Decision on issue 46,57. Progress
report on issues nr.22,23,28,51,54,55,59,60,65
- Whole
SIG: decision on issue 18
- Presentation of the new
Web-site, decision on its final lay-out, decision
on how to organize a team for supporting the web-site
maintenance.
In order to have an effective
discussion, we prefer to have new issues that are raised
during this meeting to be discussed in the next meeting.
In order to avoid such a delay, please do not hesitate
to submit your issues before this meeting.
